A training course aimed at educating and improving the qualifications of employees of communal organizations in the field of competition policy was organized by the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee

The following topics were covered during the training course: -The Law "On Competition" and its significance in the economy; -Criteria for recognizing a dominant position and monopolies; -Requirements for implementing an antimonopoly compliance system; -Unfair competition and the legal foundations for its detection; -Cartel agreements and types of anti-competitive arrangements; -Public procurement, tender processes, and violations in this area; -Criteria for assessing the dominant position of digital platforms in the market; -Procedures of exchange trading, manipulation, and legal liability. The sessions were conducted by highly qualified specialists, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical training in an integrated format. This event marked an important step toward strengthening antimonopoly legislation and enhancing the legal knowledge and skills of professionals working in this field. Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates.

The Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center has joined the editorial board of the scientific journal Marketing

Doctor of Economics and Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, Olimjon Sadulloyevich Jumaev, has been appointed to the editorial board of the scientific-practical and popular journal Marketing. Marketing is a modern scientific-practical publication covering current issues in marketing, economics, entrepreneurship, and related fields. It is aimed at both the academic community and practitioners, publishing results of academic research, analytical reviews, practical case studies, and materials of interest to lecturers, students, and industry professionals. The journal was officially registered on March 15, 2024, by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Moreover, Marketing is included in the list of scientific publications recommended by the Supreme Attestation Commission at the Cabinet Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for publishing key scientific results of dissertations. Mr. Jumaev’s inclusion in the editorial board opens up new opportunities for the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center to strengthen academic cooperation, enhance the visibility of its research, and expand professional networks. A professional development course was conducted for the employees of JSC JV UZBAT A. O.

The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competiotion Committee conducted a professional development course for employees of JSC JV UZBAT A. O., covering topics related to competition policy, consumer rights, and advertising legislation. The training course covered the following topics: The Law “On Competition” and its objectives Violations of antimonopoly legislation and their legal consequences Identification and assessment of unfair competition cases Legal foundations for consumer rights protection The Law “On Advertising” and its practical requirements The goal of the course was to enhance awareness of the norms established in the laws “On Competition,” “On Advertising,” and “On Protection of Consumer Rights,” as well as other regulatory legal acts. Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates.
