Another training program for antitrust compliance specialists was held on September 24–26

On September 24-26 of this year, The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center held training courses on the topic of “Bringing the activities of government agencies and business entities into compliance with the requirements of competition legislation,” aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area.

The courses were attended by antitrust compliance specialists from large enterprises of the republic: Uzbektelecom JSC, Uzbekistan Helicopters LLC, National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs JSC, Unicon.uz LLC, Qo'qon biokimyo JSC, Credit Information Analysis Center Credit Bureau LLC, O'zshaharzlik LITI State Enterprise, Uzbek National Institute of Metrology State Enterprise, Andijan Mechanical Plant State Enterprise, UzAuto Motors JSC, Dekhkanabad Potash Plant JSC, Uzbekkumir JSC, Bektemir-Spirt JSC, Tashkent City Underground Engineering Collectors Management State Unitary Enterprise.

Refresher courses were held on the following topics:

The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Competition" and its purpose;
The main requirements of dominance, monopoly and natural monopoly;
Basic requirements for compliance with antitrust legislation;
Types and signs of unfair competition;
Cartel agreements and their types;
Dominance in the digital platform market and antitrust requirements for them;
Procedures and requirements for the sale of highly liquid and monopoly products on stock exchanges.

Upon completion of the training seminar, participants were awarded special certificates of completion of the course.
