Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR)

CERR is a leading independent think tank operating under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established in 1999. In 2019, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was transformed into the Center for Economic Research and Reforms. The primary mission of the Center is to develop and implement effective policies for the country’s socio-economic development through collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, and civil society. The Center plays a pivotal role in supporting structural reforms and formulating strategies for sustainable development.

BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre

The BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre is a scientific and practical initiative aimed at strengthening antitrust cooperation among the BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Eurasian Research Institute

The "Yuksalish" Movement

The "Yuksalish" (Progress) Movement was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 17, 2019, “On the State Program for the Implementation of the Action Strategy on Five Priority Areas of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Year of Active Investment and Social Development.”

The Movement serves as a unique platform for the development and promotion of advanced and innovative ideas aimed at the progress of the country. It seeks to engage entrepreneurs, representatives of the business and academic communities, civil society institutions, international organizations, and the wider public in discussions, research, negotiations, public debates, and tele-debates to address existing issues and challenges, and to develop practical solutions and proposals.

The "Yuksalish" Movement was founded with the aim of voluntarily uniting all citizens who care about the development of Uzbekistan — including compatriots living abroad, members of the business community, and representatives of academic circles — around the ongoing reform processes.

               

Digital Government Project Management Center

The Center was established under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 28, 2020, No. PP-4699 “On Measures for the Broad Implementation of the Digital Economy and Digital Government” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 25, 2020, No. 409 “On Measures to Organize the Activities of Certain Organizations within the System of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Within the framework of developing the "Digital Government" system and the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” Program (hereinafter — the Program), the Center implements key reform directions aimed at improving the digital economy and the "Digital Government" system.

                          International Scientific Journal “Science and Innovation”

The international scientific journal “Science and Innovation” was established in April 2022 to implement the tasks outlined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Science and Scientific Activity” and the Presidential Decree No. PF-6097 dated October 29, 2020, including the execution of the “Science Development Concept until 2030”.

The editorial board of the journal includes leading scientists, doctors of science, and professors from the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as international experts, which enables qualified peer review of scientific papers across a wide range of disciplines.
