Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR)

CERR is a leading independent think tank operating under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established in 1999. In 2019, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was transformed into the Center for Economic Research and Reforms. The primary mission of the Center is to develop and implement effective policies for the country’s socio-economic development through collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, and civil society. The Center plays a pivotal role in supporting structural reforms and formulating strategies for sustainable development.

BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre

The BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre is a scientific and practical initiative aimed at strengthening antitrust cooperation among the BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Eurasian Research Institute
The primary mission of the Eurasian Research Institute is to create the necessary conditions for innovative research aimed at developing strategic recommendations on the Eurasian region, with a particular focus on Turkic-speaking countries. The "Yuksalish" Movement

The "Yuksalish" (Progress) Movement was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 17, 2019, “On the State Program for the Implementation of the Action Strategy on Five Priority Areas of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Year of Active Investment and Social Development.”

The Movement serves as a unique platform for the development and promotion of advanced and innovative ideas aimed at the progress of the country. It seeks to engage entrepreneurs, representatives of the business and academic communities, civil society institutions, international organizations, and the wider public in discussions, research, negotiations, public debates, and tele-debates to address existing issues and challenges, and to develop practical solutions and proposals.

The "Yuksalish" Movement was founded with the aim of voluntarily uniting all citizens who care about the development of Uzbekistan — including compatriots living abroad, members of the business community, and representatives of academic circles — around the ongoing reform processes.

               

Digital Government Project Management Center

The Center was established under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 28, 2020, No. PP-4699 “On Measures for the Broad Implementation of the Digital Economy and Digital Government” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 25, 2020, No. 409 “On Measures to Organize the Activities of Certain Organizations within the System of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Within the framework of developing the "Digital Government" system and the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” Program (hereinafter — the Program), the Center implements key reform directions aimed at improving the digital economy and the "Digital Government" system.

                   

Tashkent International Westminster University

Tashkent International Westminster University (TIWU), located in Tashkent, was established on January 16, 2002, in collaboration with the University of Westminster in London. TIWU is the first international university in Central Asia to offer British qualifications using a Western-style education. The university provides a wide range of academic programs that meet modern requirements, and all programs and disciplines are accredited by the University of Westminster. Graduates of TIWU receive diplomas awarded by the University of Westminster in London. Education at the university is conducted in English.

                         

International Scientific Journal “Science and Innovation”

The International Scientific Journal “Science and Innovation” was established in April 2022 to support the objectives set forth in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Science and Scientific Activity” and Presidential Decree No. PF-6097 dated October 29, 2020, including the implementation of the “Science Development Concept until 2030.”

The journal’s editorial board comprises leading scientists, doctors of science, and professors from Uzbekistan, along with international experts, ensuring rigorous peer review across a broad range of scientific disciplines.

               

Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Research under the Cabinet of Ministers

The Institute was established in 1968 and has over 50 years of experience in forecasting and researching macroeconomic, financial, banking, and social processes. Its goals and objectives have evolved over time to meet contemporary requirements.

In 2008, it was transformed into the Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research under the Cabinet of Ministers, and from 2018 it was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In 2023, in accordance with the Law of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-108 dated April 4, 2023, “On measures to expand the scientific approach to implementing economic reforms and improving the system of managerial personnel training,” the Institute was reorganized as the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Research under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) is a prestigious research and higher education center located in Toulouse, France, internationally recognized in the field of economics. Established in 2007, it operates within the framework of Toulouse Capitole University and is well known for its advanced research in competition policy, market regulation, industrial organization, and econometrics.

TSE includes among its faculty Jean Tirole, Nobel Prize laureate in Economics. The institution is ranked among the world’s leading economic research centers and conducts policy-oriented research in close cooperation with international organizations and public institutions.
