Another training program was conducted for employees responsible for compliance with antitrust legislation
From October 7 to 9 of this year, the Center conducted training courses on the topic of "Bringing the Activities of Government Agencies and Economic Entities in Line with Competition Legislation Requirements" aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area.
As part of these training courses, officials of antimonopoly compliance and public procurement agencies were provided with information on new rules for antimonopoly regulation, price and tariff control, as well as counteracting unfair competition, collusion and cartel agreements, the circumstances and procedure for applying financial sanctions, as well as measures to prevent them.
The experts also gave comprehensive answers to more than 100 questions from course participants on the procedures for recognizing the dominant position and preferential negotiating power of a digital platform operator, identifying actions that restrict competition and (or) infringe on the rights and legitimate interests of consumers and other economic entities.
At the end of the training course, a joint discussion of the participants' opinions and proposals on overcoming the problems that hinder the development of the antitrust compliance sector took place.
At the end of the training seminar, the participants were awarded special certificates of completion of the course.
