According to the approved schedule, training seminars on training commodity exchange participants in new trading instruments, the antimonopoly compliance system, and competition law requirements in public procurement continue in the regions

On October 30-31 of this year, the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, together with JSC Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a training course in the Samarkand region on the topic of “New trading instruments and the antimonopoly compliance system for commodity exchange participants”.

During the advanced training course, commodity exchange participants (brokers, traders) were provided with information on the digital economy, new trading instruments for exchange trading, including bilateral counter auctions, derivatives, futures contracts, and clearing.

Representatives of government customers and enterprises selling highly liquid and monopolistic products were also given detailed explanations on issues of actions that limit competition and prevent price manipulation, the regulatory framework for exchange trading, and internal control rules for exchange members.

Upon completion of the advanced training course, exchange participants (brokers, traders) were awarded special certificates.
