The agenda includes consideration of the report on the implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting, the main directions of the competition policy in the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as prevention of offences. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council Maxim Shaskolsky and Chairman of the Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Development of Competition and Consumer Protection Khalilillo Turakhujaev.

The Chairman in his speech emphasised: "Competition policy has an ancient history, having been formed in the times of ancient Rome to ensure fair trade. Today, we need to improve antitrust mechanisms and deepen international co-operation to meet the needs of digital technologies. ‘This will contribute to economic growth and improve the well-being of our people.’ Presentations will be made by representatives of CIS countries. The meeting will contribute to strengthening legal and economic ties in the region.
