On September 22 of this year, in Kazan, Russian Federation, the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Training and Methodological Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
One of the most important provisions of the memorandum is the organization of special training programs for the Committee’s staff and its regional branches on cartel detection and the analysis of cases of dominant position, with the involvement of Russian specialists in Uzbekistan.
This initiative is significant not only for international experience exchange but also for bringing Uzbekistan’s national competition policy to a qualitatively new level, strengthening transparency and competitiveness of domestic markets.
At the end of the meeting, O. Jumaev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, and A. Minnakhmetov, Director of the Training and Methodological Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, signed the memorandum of cooperation.
