The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center is conducting econometric analyses to forecast prices of socially important essential food products.

Using data from the National Statistics Committee on the dynamics of average prices for major food products from January 2021 to August 2026, a forecast of sunflower oil prices for the next 3 months was prepared.

According to the available data from the National Statistics Committee, in July 2026, the average retail price of 1 liter of sunflower oil was UZS 22,000.

According to the results of the econometric analysis, in the absence of domestic and external shocks, a slight upward trend in sunflower oil prices may persist in the coming period.

In particular, during September–November of the current year, the retail price of 1 liter of sunflower oil is expected to remain around UZS 22,500 (minimum — UZS 21,300; maximum — UZS 23,500).
