The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center analyzed existing scientific developments within the framework of new approaches to improving the well-being of the population in Syrdarya Region.

According to data from the Higher Attestation Commission under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a total of 83 scientific works were defended in 2018–2026 in the areas of poverty reduction, employment, and increasing household incomes. Of these, 68 were PhD dissertations and 15 were DSc dissertations.

Of the total number of scientific works, 24 focused on poverty reduction, 39 on employment, and 20 on increasing incomes.

The analysis shows that a certain scientific foundation has been established in these areas. Studying the practical approaches and solutions presented in the defended scientific works, assessing the feasibility of applying them in the regions, and piloting promising developments create opportunities to translate scientific findings into practical measures aimed at increasing employment and household incomes.
