According to the analysis, of the 5,134 types of goods produced in Uzbekistan, 1,495 types (29%) are also produced in Navoi Region. Of the 9,049 types of products imported into the country, 1,955 types enter the regional market. Meanwhile, 55% of the products produced in the region have a level of complexity above the global average.

Based on the methodology of Harvard University’s Economic Complexity Index, production opportunities for 1,242 types of products were assessed, with more than 300 products studied on a sample basis.

As a result, it was found that for 30 types of products, the level of domestic market saturation with locally produced goods is below the established benchmark.

These analyses help identify promising areas for localizing new products, expanding production opportunities, and filling existing gaps in the domestic market.
