The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center has launched new training courses
On January 28 of this year, the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center began conducting training courses on the topic of "Bringing the activities of government agencies and business entities in line with the requirements of competition legislation" aimed at improving the skills of employees of the following organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area.
The training courses are attended by invited deputy heads of departments, chief legal advisers, specialists from territorial departments of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On the first day of these training courses, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Competition" and its purpose, the importance of competition for the economy, consideration of cases related to unfair competition and the application of established financial liability, the main requirements of a dominant position, monopoly and natural monopoly, the criteria for their recognition were considered, and detailed explanations were given on actions that restrict competition and prevent price manipulation in exchange trading, and the regulatory framework for exchange trading.
During the training courses, it is planned to explain to the students the types and kinds of manipulation in exchange trading, as well as the responsibility and legal measures for their commission, as well as the features of state aid provided by the state to business entities, in particular, tax and customs benefits, subsidies, exclusive rights.
These training courses will last until January 31.
