JSC Uzbekistan Railways announced an increase in the price of regular (sleeper) passenger trains by 10.5% of the tariff part of the ticket price from February 1, 2025.

The increase is explained in the announcement of the joint-stock company as the need to partially cover the costs of passenger transportation by rail, infrastructure, electricity, fuel, and transportation costs, as well as the renewal of the fleet of passenger cars, improve the operation of railway stations in accordance with new modern requirements, and ensure high-quality service for passengers.
