The Central Bank has introduced a limit on the number of bank cards issued to one person. Reported, that temporary rules to be in effect from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
Earlier, the regulator announced the establishment of a limit of 20 cards per person, including virtual and co-branded cards. At the same time, no more than 5 bank cards can be opened in one bank. It is supposed, that restrictions will optimize banks' work in issuing cards and strengthen control over their use. After completing the development of the initiatives, the Central Bank plans to submit it for discussion with the public and the media.
