From March 18 to 20 of this year, a seminar on “Tourism, Transport, and Competition” was organized in Bilbao, Spain, by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the OECD-GVH Regional Centre for Competition in Hungary, in cooperation with the University of Deusto in Bilbao. Olimjon Jumayev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee, took part in the seminar.

The main objective of this seminar was to familiarize themselves with the activities of the Regional Competition Center, as well as the Spanish Competition Authority, and to exchange experiences.

The events and meetings discussed the most pressing issues of competition law and economics, including legal protection of competition, as well as economic and procedural issues.
