The Center for Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research under the Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan has successfully completed a series of practical training courses for employees of government agencies, commercial banks, pharmaceutical organizations, and business entities.
A special course for Microcreditbank employees provided practical knowledge on the Law “On Competition,” rules of competition in public procurement processes, and mechanisms for detecting unfair competition and cartel agreements in tenders.
A course for representatives of state and business entities covered modern topics such as antimonopoly compliance, analysis of market dominance on digital platforms, and identification of manipulative practices in exchange trading.
In a specialized course for the pharmaceutical sector, discussions were held on licensing requirements for the sale of medicines and medical products, formation of reference prices, provisions of the Law “On Advertising,” and violations detected via the “FAIR TECH” information system.
All courses were held at a high level with the participation of Committee specialists, university scholars, and leading industry experts.
Upon completion, participants were awarded certificates.
These courses, aimed at implementing competition policy in practice, refreshing sectoral knowledge, and improving professional qualifications, are systematically organized by the Center.
