A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center for Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research under the Competition Committee and the nationwide movement "Yuksalish"

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

⏺️ Analyzing the competitive environment and identifying market entry barriers;
⏺️ Developing public oversight mechanisms;
⏺️ Enhancing the involvement of civil society institutions;
⏺️ Organizing educational seminars, trainings, and conferences;
⏺️ Raising consumer awareness and culture among the population;
⏺️ Conducting information campaigns aimed at improving legal literacy;
⏺️ Implementing joint projects with international organizations.

The memorandum also envisages conducting surveys, focus groups, and other sociological research on consumer rights among the population, based on which practical proposals for improving legislation will be developed.

At the end of the meeting, Olimjon Jumayev, Head of the Research Center, and Askar Mamathanov, Deputy Chairperson — Executive Director of the nationwide movement "Yuksalish", signed the Memorandum of Understanding. The parties agreed to continue cooperation by exchanging information, publishing research findings, and participating jointly in various projects.
