A scientific and practical roundtable discussion was held at The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee with the participation of master's students from Tashkent State University of Economics.
During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed information on the evolution of modern competition theory, market structures, M. Porter's concept of competitive advantage formation, monopolistic and oligopolistic competition models, and the impact of monopsony conditions on the economy.
The discussion also covered perspectives on the development of the competitive environment in our country, the improvement of the consumer rights protection system, the content and essence of the new edition of the Law "On Competition", changes in market relations in the context of digital platforms, and modern antimonopoly mechanisms.
The roundtable was held in an open and interactive format, enabling students to consolidate their theoretical knowledge through practical examples.
This meeting contributed to expanding the knowledge and skills of young specialists in the field of competition policy, developing scientific cooperation, and training qualified personnel in the future.
