Market analysis of reservoirs with a capacity of over 300 liters conducted
The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee conducted an analysis of the competitive environment in the market of reservoirs with a capacity of over 300 liters, as well as the level of domestic market saturation with locally produced goods.
According to the analysis results:
Imports: In 2024, 113 companies imported reservoirs from 19 countries totaling USD 7.5 million (1.4 thousand tons).
Main import structure: The top 5 importing companies accounted for 55% of total imports
China — 69%
Russia — 9%
South Korea — 7%
Other countries — 15%
Exports: In 2024, 9 companies exported reservoirs to 5 countries totaling USD 49 thousand (98 tons).
Domestic production: In 2024, 16 companies produced reservoirs worth UZS 46.9 billion (1.1 thousand tons).
Market saturation level: The domestic market saturation with local products amounted to 46%. It should be noted that a level above 80% indicates a saturated market.
Conclusion: The share of domestic production in the reservoir market remains insufficient, and the market is not yet saturated. At the same time, there is existing domestic demand, indicating opportunities for expanding production capacities and implementing new investment projects.
