The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee conducted an analysis of the wheat and flour market, including price dynamics, import-export conditions, and the level of domestic supply.

According to the analysis:
- More than 665 thousand tons of wheat and over 353 thousand tons of flour products were offered through exchange trading during January–April 2026;
- Although an increase in wheat prices was observed, no sharp changes were recorded in flour prices;
- According to the results of the econometric analysis (ARIMA), the average price of 1 kg of first-grade flour is expected to remain around 6,600 UZS during May–July of the current year;
- The country’s production capacities are sufficient to cover up to 103 percent of domestic demand for flour products.

The analysis also revealed that nearly all wheat imports account for Kazakhstan, while the main share of exports is directed to the Afghan market.
