Harvard University Professor and co-author of the Economic Complexity Index methodology, César Hidalgo, presented scientific and practical approaches to economic diversification, the development of high-value-added sectors, and enhancing export competitiveness.

At the conclusion of the training, participants held a Q&A session and exchanged views on the practical relevance of the Economic Complexity Index methodology for economic analysis and decision-making.

The event will contribute to data-driven economic decision-making and the use of modern analytical tools to support the development of Uzbekistan’s industrial and export potential.
