The official opening ceremony of UZEX Global, a joint venture established through cooperation between UZEX and PhillipCapital, was held in Tashkent.

At the opening ceremony, Olimjon Jumaev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, delivered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection.

The activities of UZEX Global will expand opportunities for Uzbek businesses to access international commodity derivatives markets and provide access to modern instruments for hedging and effectively managing price risks.

The initiative will contribute to the development of modern exchange infrastructure, deeper integration with international financial markets, and the formation of a competitive market environment.
