The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center conducted studies on poverty reduction, employment, and increasing household incomes in Syrdarya Region. As part of the study, opportunities to create additional reserves and jobs through the effective use of the region’s existing potential were analyzed.

The study found that 67 buildings and structures with a total value of UZS 229.3 billion are held on the balance sheets of commercial banks with state participation. It was also identified that more than 180 new jobs could be created in 2026 alone through the implementation of 4 projects.

According to the analysis, effectively utilizing these opportunities could create new jobs in the region, increase employment, and expand opportunities for raising household incomes.
