On September 26, in Khavast District of Syrdarya Region, the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, in cooperation with German Sparkassenstiftung, organized a seminar-training for hokim assistants on the topic: “Successful Project Management: From a Roadmap to a Viable Project — Planning, Project Justification, and the Use of Appropriate Financing Instruments.”

The training covered the substance and significance of Presidential Decree No. PF–193, mechanisms for its practical implementation, as well as issues related to effectively organizing the fulfillment of the assigned tasks.

In addition, Lia Grauberger, Head of the Consumer Protection and Competition Department at German Sparkassenstiftung and an international expert, provided hokim assistants with practical skills in project planning and justification, developing clear roadmaps, selecting financing sources, defining responsible persons and deadlines, and effectively managing project implementation through to the achievement of results.

The main objective of the training was to enhance the practical capacity of hokim assistants to implement the tasks set out in the Decree through concrete projects and measurable results.
