On October 28–29 of this year, in Khankendi, Azerbaijan, a delegation of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee participated in the 61st Meeting of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy (ICAP) of the CIS Member States and the 47th Meeting of the Headquarters for Joint Investigation of Violations of Antimonopoly Legislation. The delegation was headed by O.Jumayev, Director of the Center.

During the meetings held on October 28–29, O.Jumayev, Director of the Center, addressed the participants on behalf of the Uzbek delegation, highlighting key issues aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of investigations.

In particular, important proposals were put forward on exchanging experience in methodologies for detecting violations of exchange trading rules, examining cases of competition restrictions in the cross-border supply of original products, and developing expert cooperation in the regulation of digital platforms and the use of analytical algorithms.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the proposals put forward were unanimously approved by the meeting participants.
