Another training program for antitrust compliance specialists was held on September 24–26

On September 24-26 of this year, The Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center held training courses on the topic of “Bringing the activities of government agencies and business entities into compliance with the requirements of competition legislation,” aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area. The courses were attended by antitrust compliance specialists from large enterprises of the republic: Uzbektelecom JSC, Uzbekistan Helicopters LLC, National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs JSC, Unicon.uz LLC, Qo'qon biokimyo JSC, Credit Information Analysis Center Credit Bureau LLC, O'zshaharzlik LITI State Enterprise, Uzbek National Institute of Metrology State Enterprise, Andijan Mechanical Plant State Enterprise, UzAuto Motors JSC, Dekhkanabad Potash Plant JSC, Uzbekkumir JSC, Bektemir-Spirt JSC, Tashkent City Underground Engineering Collectors Management State Unitary Enterprise. Refresher courses were held on the following topics: The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Competition" and its purpose; The main requirements of dominance, monopoly and natural monopoly; Basic requirements for compliance with antitrust legislation; Types and signs of unfair competition; Cartel agreements and their types; Dominance in the digital platform market and antitrust requirements for them; Procedures and requirements for the sale of highly liquid and monopoly products on stock exchanges. Upon completion of the training seminar, participants were awarded special certificates of completion of the course.

Another program of advanced training courses for employees responsible for antimonopoly activities was conducted

On September 17-19 of this year, the Center held training courses on the topic of “Bringing the activities of government agencies and business entities into compliance with the requirements of competition legislation,” aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area. The courses were attended by employees of the antimonopoly control of the largest enterprises of the Republic: the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection, JSC "Trade Development Company", JSC "Foundry and Mechanical Plant", JSC "Regional Electric Networks", JSC "Uzbekgeofizika", JV LLC "Gazli Gas Storage", JSC "Navoi TES", JSC "JV LLC "Uztyazhpromproekt", State Unitary Enterprise "Uzbekgidrogeologiya", State Unitary Enterprise "Toshshaharnur", LLC "Uzdigital TV", State Unitary Enterprise "Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility", JSC "Boshtransloyiha", JSC "Jizzakh Battery Plant", State Unitary Enterprise "Organization of Online Electronic Auctions", LLC "Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov". Results of the “Digital Regulation Regimes for Competition and AI” Training

Today marked the conclusion of the two-day training “Digital Regulation Regimes for Competition and AI” organized in collaboration with the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation. On the final day, two key sessions were held: "Antitrust Regulation and Artificial Intelligence" "Digital Regulation Cooperation" (interactions between digital and AI markets with various regulatory regimes, including competition, consumer protection, and data protection) This event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of policy implications, and the development of strategic approaches to effective digital market regulation. At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.

Training on “Digital Regulation Regimes for Competition and AI”

Comprehensive reforms are being carried out to increase the personnel potential of the Competition Committee system today. The Competition Committee in collaboration with the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation, has launched a two-day training program "Digital Regulation Regimes for Competition and AI" for the Committee’s specialists. This training aims to enhance the participants' skills and knowledge in regulating digital and AI-driven markets. Running from September 17 to 18, the program kicked off today with two insightful sessions: "Introduction to Digital and AI Markets" "Digital Competition Regulatory Regimes" (Germany, Europe, and the UK’s regulatory approaches) The sessions are led by Dr. Christophe Carugati, an expert in field.

On August 19-21 of this year, the Center conducted training courses on the topic of “Bringing the activities of government agencies and business entities into compliance with the requirements of competition legislation,” aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of organizations and further improving their knowledge and potential in this area. The courses were attended by employees of the antimonopoly compliance of the largest enterprises of the Republic: State Institution "Uzbek Accreditation Center", State Unitary Enterprise "Tashkentboshplanliti", LLC "Khorezm Shakar", JSC "Maksam-Chirchik", LLC "Bukhara Oil Refinery", State Unitary Enterprise "Makhsustrans", JSC "Ammofos-Maksam", LLC "Avtooyna", JSC "Navoiazot", LLC "All-Republican Processing Center "Yagona", JSC "Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange", LLC "Angren Shakar", JSC "Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange", LLC "Veolia Energy Tashkent", JSC "AlokaBank". As part of the courses, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee F.
